Photography 🢒 Two Territories

The main street in Barkerville, Nov. 2022.
Barkerville, like Dawson City, was a Gold Rush boom town dating back to the 1860s. It has a central place in the history of British Columbia, alternately thriving and declining up until about the 1940s.
These days it's a ghost town, preserved as a Heritage Park. While it no doubt gets busy in summer, when I visited I had it almost to myself. That suited me fine.
